Theft

Claire's been learning about Monet for the past two weeks at preschool. She can tell me all about his little pink house in France, his lily ponds and about how he "painted from his heart." This week her teacher shared news of a Monet painting theft.


Betsy: Hey, tell me more about this Monet painting that was stolen. What happened?

Claire: Well, some people thought he was just a worker and was going to repair the painting. But really he was a gurggler.
Wait. That's not the word. Well, whatever. He stole it. He was a thief!
